Dear all,
With pleasure, we would
like to inform you that by the grace of almighty Allah,
we the Rohingyas in Japan have formed an organization
namely "Arakan Rohingya Organization –
Japan (JARO)" on 16th April, 2006 through mutual
discussion and unanimous decision to advance the cause
of Rohingyas and restoration of the fundamental citizenship
rights, establishment of democracy , justice and human-rights
in Burma , as well as to carry out social welfare
and development activities for the Rohingyas in Japan.
We seek kind co-operation of all Rohingyas
and democratic forces without regarding the race,
religion, and language to work together in peaceful
means for the well-being and development of our country
and people establishing democratic civil societies
around the world.
The JARO is neither a sub-organization and
part of any Rohingya armed-struggling group nor it
will be so in the future.
THE
OBJECTIVES OF JARO
To undertake social welfare
activities among the Rohingya people living in Japan
To collectively help ,solve
problems and difficulties of the Rohingya people in
Japan .
To strengthen friendship and
fraternity amongst the Burmese nationals and Rohingyas
in Japan .
To make aware of the plight
of Rohingyas in Japanese society and to create amicable
relation with the Japanese people .
To work jointly with other Burmese
democratic forces in Japan in the struggle of Democracy
establishment and removal of military junta from the
power in Burma .
To co-operate with all other
Burmese democratic parties , ethnics groups and NGOs
in Japan and other countries who are working in peaceful
means for peace , justice and human rights in Burma.
To struggle for a federal Union of Burma
based on justice and equality of all ethnic nationalities
on democratic ideals.
JARO members elected as under its Central
Executive Committee ( CEC )Members for 2006 and 2007
at the 2 nd Term General Meeting at the Joy House
Hall , Tatebayashi city , Gunma prefecture , Japan
. It was attended more than 35 displace Arakanese
Rohingyas who are living in Japan .
